Product Information
Our new range of low profile, compact self-centring vices have been engineered to be the ideal solution for your multi-axis machining needs. Available in four different sizes, with either a 75mm or 125mm jaw width, each vice utilises a pair of serrated 45° dovetail jaws to clamp onto components. Dovetail jaws allow you to grip a component, with matching dovetails machined into the bottom of the workpiece, on minimal stock but with extremely high clamping force. In turn, this allows users to machine on five sides of the workpiece with ease with minimal material wastage. The jaws also incorporate a measuring rule as a guide to find the central position. The Tuscan range of self-centring vices have been designed to withstand the pressure and force of CNC machining, and with Tuscan, you can be assured these vices have been manufactured to exacting standards using premium materials.
45° Dovetail Serrated Jaws
Dovetail jaws allow you to grip a component, with matching dovetails machined into the bottom of the workpiece, on minimal stock but with extremely high clamping force. In turn, this allows users to machine on five sides of the workpiece with ease with minimal material wastage.
Compact Design
The small vices leave unrivalled tooling access so you can get into all the features of the component.
One Operation
Parts which historically would have needed multiple machining operations can now be done in one using tagging methods. The SCV vices allow the programmer to machine every feature on the part in one-hit leaving small tags to break the part our by hand leaving only a small de-burring operation to finish off.
Versatile Mounting Options
Tuscan SCV vices are equipped with 96mm and/ or 52mm pitch patterns in the bottom of the vice, which are compatible with Jergens Quick-Loc pallets, Lang Quick Point, 5th Axis Rocklock and others. The Tuscan mounting studs are exactly the same as the 5th Axis version; this means both Tuscan and 5th Axis Rocklock systems are completely interchangeable without the need to swap mounting studs.
