    • 5 Axis Self Centring VicesOur range of low profile, compact self-centring 5th axis vices have been engineered to be the ideal solution for your multi-axis machining needs. Available in four different sizes, with either a 75mm or 125mm jaw width, each vice utilises a pair of serrated 45° dovetail jaws to clamp onto components. Dovetail jaws allow you to grip a component, with matching dovetails machined into the bottom of the workpiece, on minimal stock but with extremely high clamping force. In turn, this allows users to machine on five sides of the workpiece with ease with minimal material wastage. The jaws also incorporate a measuring rule as a guide to find the central position. The Tuscan range of self-centring 5th axis vices have been designed to withstand the pressure and force of CNC machining, and with Tuscan, you can be assured these vices have been manufactured to exacting standards using premium materials. We stock quality made and best priced 5 axis vices on the UK market. Get in touch today for a fast response to enquiries.
    • 52 | 96 Zero-Point BasesTuscan mechanical zero-point clamping technology is essential for rapid changeovers of workpieces, tooling fixtures, pallets, vices, chucks and other workholding devices. By using Tuscan mechanical zero-point bases in your machine shop, you can design various tooling fixtures to suit and exchange them on 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis machine tools quickly and reduce downtime between machine cycles. With zero-point clamping, you can reduce setup times by more than 80% – the industry-standard mounting patterns of 52mm and 96mm enables simple switchovers of vices, fixtures and tooling between all machines in your machine shop.
    • 52 | 96 Pitch Top ToolingVarious Top Tooling fixtures to hold a variety of workpieces. All utilise the industry standard 52mm or 96mm pullstud spacing.
    • Single Station CNC Machine VicesHigh quality and always improving on industry standards, the Tuscan range of single station machine vices are designed to withstand the pressure and force of CNC machining. With a built in anti-lift mechanism the vice ensures accurate and repeatable machining down to microns.

    • Kojex DC Slim Collet ChucksKojex Slim Collet Chucks are specifically designed for tools under 6.35mm. The DC system incorporates an inner collet-holding design, providing minimal runout of 5micron (4xD) and unsurpassed performance in all machining operations. The nose is only 14mm – making this many users go-to for complex 5 Axis machining. An outstanding tool holding system.
    • Kojex UC Gold Collet ChucksKojex UC Gold Collet chucks provide outstanding performance, superior to most, if not all mechanical collet systems available in today’s market. Due to the inner collet-holding design, runouts are greater than 5micron (4xD). The UC accuracy is comparable to Shrink, but the UC system offers greater tool dampening and range flexibility through being a collet system. An exceptional Tool Holding system.
    • Kojex SD Plus Collet ChucksKojex SD Tool Holders incorporate nut bearings to increase clamping force by more than 30% over more traditional methods, whilst avoiding the distortion and deformation of the collet. The SD collet and tool holder have 95% contact, providing much better damping performance, greater accuracy and tool life.
    • Kojex HEC Milling ChucksKojex HEC Tool Holders are specifically designed for milling operations. The collet is designed with a slower taper than traditional ER collet systems, meaning the collet has more contact with the shank of the tool. The collet is completely retained in the nut which provides the collet and tool with extra support during the machining process.
    • Kojex WSD Synchro Tapping ChucksKojex WSD Tapping Chucks provide a tool holding solution to generate accurate threads. The internal buffer spring allows compression compensation which reduces torque by a third, by reducing the torque, this increases the quality and accuracy of the tapped hole significantly.

Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices for Precision Machining

Unlock the full potential of your machining operations with Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices, designed to deliver exceptional precision, repeatability, and versatility at a fraction of the cost of premium alternatives. These vices are engineered to meet the needs of modern manufacturers looking for high-quality, robust, and affordable solutions for 5-axis machining, CNC milling, and multi-axis operations.

Key Features of Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices:

Superior Precision and Repeatability

Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices provide precise clamping, ensuring that parts are held securely and accurately throughout the machining process. The self-centring mechanism guarantees that your workpiece is always positioned with optimal precision, reducing setup time and minimising the chance of errors.

The repeatable clamping system is ideal for high-volume production runs where consistency and part quality are crucial, helping you achieve the same results from the first part to the last.

45-Degree Dovetail Angle for Enhanced Clamping

One of the standout features of Tuscan 5-Axis vices is the 45-degree dovetail angle built into the jaws. This clever design improves the grip on parts, especially during 5-axis machining operations where angular positioning is crucial. The dovetail angle ensures that the workpiece is securely held, even under higher cutting forces, which results in improved clamping stability and reduced chance of slippage during machining.

The dovetail design enhances clamping force by increasing the surface contact between the vice jaws and the workpiece, making it ideal for parts that require precision clamping in multi-axis machining.

Durable and Robust Construction

Constructed from high-quality steel, the Tuscan 5-Axis vices offer superior strength and durability. Unlike some alternatives, these vices are built to withstand heavy-duty machining operations, providing a long service life even in demanding production environments.

The robust design ensures that your vices will remain accurate over time, with minimal wear or degradation, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

Cost-Effective Solution for Precision Clamping

Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices offer the same high-quality clamping performance you would expect from premium systems, but at a more affordable price point. By choosing Tuscan vices, you get the reliability and precision you need for your machining operations without the hefty price tag of other well-known brands.

With Tuscan vices, you can save significantly on your initial investment, while still maintaining the accuracy and efficiency that are essential for your production process.

Optimised for 5-Axis Machining

Ideal for 5-axis machining centres, the Tuscan 5-Axis vices provide the flexibility needed for complex, multi-sided parts. Their self-centring design ensures that the workpiece is held firmly in place, allowing for accurate cuts from every angle and improving your machining capabilities across multiple operations.

These vices are perfectly suited for both small and large parts, offering clamping solutions for a wide variety of geometries and sizes.

Quick Setup and Efficient Clamping

The quick clamping mechanism on Tuscan 5-Axis vices allows for rapid setup times, making them ideal for shops with high turnover or those working on multi-part production runs. The self-centring feature also means less time spent aligning parts, leading to greater overall efficiency in your workflow.

Versatile and Flexible Workholding

Whether you are working with aluminium, steel, or exotic materials, Tuscan 5-Axis Self-Centring Vices are adaptable to a wide range of applications. Their versatility makes them a perfect fit for industries like aerospace, automotive, medical, and toolmaking, where precision and flexibility are paramount.
