Key Features of Tuscan Top Tooling:
Premium Build Quality and Materials
Crafted from high-grade steel, Tuscan top tooling is built to withstand the rigours of high-performance machining. Unlike aluminium alternatives, steel offers enhanced durability, strength, and longevity, making it ideal for heavy-duty operations and high-volume production runs.
The robust steel construction of Tuscan top tooling provides a secure, stable foundation for your workholding setups, ensuring consistent results and minimal wear over time.
Full Compatibility with 5th Axis 52 | 96 Systems
Tuscan Top Tooling is fully compatible with 5th Axis workholding systems, featuring location studs that match the 52 | 96 Zero Point system. This allows seamless integration with existing setups, making it easy to swap or upgrade your tooling without any additional modification or complexity.
Designed with standardised locators, Tuscan tooling simplifies setup changes and ensures your system remains fully operational across different workholding configurations.
Enhanced Flexibility for Multi-Machine Operations
The interchangeable tooling design of the Tuscan 52 | 96 system enhances flexibility, enabling quick adaptation to different machining environments. Whether you are using a CNC milling machine, lathe, or other machines, the top tooling ensures quick, accurate part setups across a range of operations.
The ability to easily switch between fixtures allows manufacturers to perform multi-operation machining—milling, drilling, grinding—without re-clamping or repositioning parts, saving time and improving productivity.
Fast and Precise Setup Times
With Tuscan Top Tooling, you can expect quick setup times due to its easy-to-use, zero-point clamping system. This reduces downtime significantly, ensuring your machines spend more time producing and less time on re-fixturing and alignment.
The repeatable clamping system ensures that parts are always aligned with perfect accuracy every time they are clamped, delivering high-quality, consistent results from the first part to the last.
Customisable Options for Every Application
Whether you’re working with small batch productions, high-precision prototype machining, or mass production, Tuscan Top Tooling offers customisable solutions to meet the unique demands of your operations.
With a variety of mounting options, fixturing configurations, and compatible accessories, Tuscan top tooling can be adapted to suit a wide range of part sizes, geometries, and machining requirements.
Improved Efficiency & Cost-Effectiveness
By reducing set-up times, increasing machine uptime, and improving part accuracy, Tuscan Top Tooling maximises the efficiency of your manufacturing process. This leads to increased throughput and a significant reduction in scrap rates, which translates into a better return on investment (ROI) over time.
The steel construction ensures long-lasting performance, providing cost savings over time by reducing the need for frequent replacements or repairs commonly associated with aluminium-based systems.
Compatible with Automation Systems
Tuscan Top Tooling is designed for integration with automated systems, including robotic arms and CNC automation. This compatibility supports advanced manufacturing automation, reducing the need for manual labour and increasing precision in high-volume operations.
