Product Information
Tuscan mechanical zero-point clamping technology is essential for rapid changeovers of workpieces, tooling fixtures, pallets, vices, chucks and other workholding devices. By using Tuscan mechanical zero-point bases in your machine shop, you can design various tooling fixtures to suit and exchange them on 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis machine tools quickly and reduce downtime between machine cycles. With zero-point clamping, you can reduce setup times by more than 80% – the industry-standard mounting pattern enables simple switchovers of vices, fixtures and tooling between all machines in your machine shop.
Compatibility
Tuscan mechanical zero-point clamping systems use the industry standard 52mm and/ or 96mm mounting pitches. Tuscan bases are compatible with 5th Axis Rocklock Studs – the PS16F (52mm pitch) or PS20F (96mm pitch).
Material
All Tuscan mechanical zero-point bases are made from Steel, not Aluminium. Steel has a higher strength and lifespan than Aluminium so you can be assured you are investing in a high quality product, and buying the best version every single time!
Versatile Mounting Options
Tuscan mechanical zero-point bases are equipped with 96mm and/ or 52mm pitch patterns, as are Jergens Quick-Loc, Lang Quick Point, 5th Axis Rocklock and others. The Tuscan mounting studs are exactly the same as the 5th Axis version; this means both Tuscan and 5th Axis Rocklock systems are completely interchangeable without the need to swap mounting studs.
