Personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as “PPE”, is equipment worn to minimise exposure to hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses. These injuries and illnesses may result from contact with chemical, radiological, physical, electrical, mechanical, or other workplace hazards.
